The Pareturn Barwon Listed Private Equity Fund is a Luxembourg-domiciled UCITS fund providing investors with a high conviction, global portfolio of private equity investments while offering daily liquidity in a fee efficient manner.
Barwon Investment Partners have been managing funds dedicated to listed private equity since 2006.
The Fund invests in publicly-traded stocks that offer exposure to the equity and debt of private equity-backed companies. The strategies span private equity buyouts, private debt, growth equity and venture capital.
The portfolio typically consists of 20 to 25 securities at any one time, seeking the best opportunities from the investment universe while providing diversification across geographies, deal stages and vintages.
It is offered in three unit classes: EUR, GBP and USD.
Investment Strategy
The underlying fund holds a high-conviction portfolio of 15-25 securities at any one time, seeking the best opportunities from the investment universe while providing diversification across geographies, deal stages and vintages.
The portfolio offers liquid exposure to private equity returns through a global portfolio diversified by private equity manager, sector, strategy and vintage.
Listed Private Equity provides investors with Private Equity exposure and returns, but with public market liquidity. It is an inefficient market, so alpha can be generated through active management.
